The response to "Sweet Home," a Korean genre based on a popular webtoon of the same name, is hot.

According to Netflix, "Sweet Home," which was released to the world on Netflix on the 18/12, was ranked first in 13 foreign countries and ranked in the top 10 in more than 70 countries just four days after its release, drawing attention from domestic and foreign viewers.

What's the point? It's a new creature. Creatures that have not been seen in the past appear in the drama.

The monsterization of "Sweet Home" is different from the monsterization that viewers have met.

So Sweet Home synopsis is fresh.

The virus attached to the fallen meteorite does not affect humans, nor does people turn into monsters for no reason. The monster that lived in space does not invade the Earth, nor does it occur due to the mistakes of the researchers who are experimenting.

The character in "Sweet Home" turns into a monster according to his desire. There are also various and bizarre looks such as a vampire monster with a long tongue out with his chin pulled down, a muscle monster with a dry smile on a huge muscle, and a lotus root monster whose head was cut off above his nose.

All creatures, even if they are not "Sweet Home," basically have a disgusting appearance, but the reason why "Sweet Home" creatures come to be more gruesome is because human desires are severely distorted and mutated in their lifetime. Humans feel scared or disgusted when they see the monster's shell, but when they read the meaning projected on the shell, they feel not only fear but also compassion, empathy, and pity.

Here's the speciality of Sweet Home. The "Sweet Home" creatures are not just violent. They have compromised their desires and eventually become monsters, but there are some monsters that are not violent. Some monsters are gentle, and some monsters are not very nice. Of course, there is also a kind creature that saves children. Monsters with longer hands, drooling like liquid, and baby monsters in the womb. These very points go beyond the formula 'Criture is this and this'.

"Sweet Home" tells what happens after high school student Hyun-soo, who lost all his family, moves to a home apartment drawn by high school student Hyun-soo. Here, Hyun-soo meets strange monsters and joins forces with the residents to defeat them.

An interesting character is Hyun-soo. Hyun-soo is a monster, but he is not a complete monster. He is a human being, but also a monster, and has a transcendent power over ordinary people. But he can't judge anyone. Rather, he is on the bench.

Because residents who noticed that Hyun-soo was going through a monsterization process voted against him. People say. Hyun-soo should be kicked out because it could be dangerous. Others said, 'But it's not a monster, so we have to quarantine it. It's murder to send them out.'

"Sweet Home" completely breaks the line between Creutcher and humans. In this drama, it doesn't matter who the monster is and who the human being is. It doesn't matter how far you will look at it as a monster and how far you will look at it as a human being and how much you will protect it. This is because very often humans show a more brutal appearance than monsters.

For example, the surrounding people who made Hyun-soo a reclusive loner or a group of men who came into the green groove are nothing more than monsters wearing human masks. "Sweet Home" makes you think about who can point at whom, what is the real human face, and what the monster's face is. Director Lee Eung-bok said, "There are a lot of monsters, but the real story I want to tell is 'human'."

Director Lee Eung-bok, who directed the work, said he tried to faithfully reflect the original webtoon when making Netflix's "Sweet Home." Just as the webtoon of the same name has already proved the possibility of success through countless fans, Netflix's original "Sweet Home" also flows without a big burden within the big storyline(synopsis).

However, scenes that were not probable were interrupted. Outside the apartment was an absolutely dangerous place, but some people went in and out easily without any restrictions, making it a little discouraged. The confrontation between humans and monsters is also solved without major problems. There was more fear of when and what kind of monster people would turn into than the fight between humans and monsters.

Although various monsters in the original work were vividly implemented on Netflix screens, there were some scenes that were awkward in expression in between. It was when Lee Si-young and muscle monster fought outside the apartment. There were also delicate scenes of the monster's skin or an ensemble of overall screens, but relatively rugged scenes were also noticeable.

Although there were some parts that were unfortunate, "Sweet Home" was the starting point of the Korean genre, capturing both fun and meaning. "Sweet Home" is expected to provide exciting fun for those who are looking for new creatures they have never seen before, and those who want to see bizarre and lively scenes of monsters.
